Campaign Transparency
Over the last several years, trust in our government and our elected officials has steadily declined to the point of nearly fading away. A primary reason for this lack of trust is due to little or no transparency in the inner workings of our government. Legislators continuously put up roadblocks to prevent ‘we the people’ from knowing the facts. Once peeled back, there are so many layers of conflicts of interest that trust is just not possible.
It is obvious that money drives many of our legislators, not the concern for you and me. However, they forget that we are the people that put them in office. Hear our voice! If I am allowed the honor to be your next State Senator, I pledge to make our government transparent in every way possible so you can readily know the facts and be well informed. The technology and need is there, and I have the will and proven record to get it done.
Our community prospers when we talk and work together. I hope that you will call me and ask me questions when you hear something that might concern you. We need that type of relationship if we are going to fix the problems that exist in our State government. I see no reason for us to wait until after the election to begin this process.

Negative campaigning divides our party and prevents us from accomplishing our real goal – defeating liberals and pursuing a course that protects our conservative values and builds a stronger economy for our future. I will not engage in negative campaigning, but I will not tolerate attacks on my family, practice or reputation. If I sense that desperate politicians are slinging intentionally loaded half-truths, I will call them out.
Our party thrives when debate is open and candidates are honest. Alabama shines when government is transparent.
