Improving the security of the family
- Protect the family’s right to bear arms
- Protect the family’s heart by preserving the union of marriage between a man and a woman
- Protect the unborn child from abortion
- Challenge the “no prayer in school” decisions
- Reform laws pertaining to child custody issues and visitation rights
- Strengthen the laws to punish sex offenders, sexual predators and internet pornography
- Reform the adoption laws to encourage more adoptions at a lower cost
- Reduce the size of government and lower taxes to allow families to keep their money
- Stop gambling from destroying our state
Preventing government interference
- Block politicians from using your money for political projects and payoffs
- Eliminate the slush funds that buy votes
- Return to a four-year property tax re-appraisal
- Protect our 10th Amendment rights as citizens of Alabama
- Aggressively fight to stop unconstitutional federal mandates
- Stop eminent domain in all cases unless community need is critical
- Protect your property rights as the owner of your property
- Work with adjacent states to protect state’s rights
Illegal immigration
- AL cannot be a safe haven for illegal immigrants
- Companies should not be allowed to bid on State jobs without proof of the legal status of their employees
- Utilize the E-Verify system to identify a legal workforce in AL
- Assure parents are legal before allowing children to enter our schools
- English is the language of AL and all tests should be given in English
- If an illegal immigrant is arrested for a crime, they should be deported not released back into the community
- Stop the “anchor baby” process
Ethics
- Stop the PAC-to-PAC shell game
- Open all records for public scrutiny
- Make lobbyists and legislators disclose all contributions and perks
- Stop the back room deals where ‘pork’ is used to sway a legislator’s vote
- Prevent lawmaker’s families from getting rich off of government contracts
